Strangling victim refuses to cooperate

Police were called to an assault early, Thursday morning, at a bus stop at Gerstmar and Highway 33.

Witnesses reported one man strangling another.

When police arrived the suspect had fled the scene.

The victim refused to cooperate with police.

They say the matter will not be pursued any further.

A motive for the assault is unclear.
