Students from UBC Okanagan and Okanagan College will take part in Wednesday's 'National Day of Action.'
They will join the nation-wide rally in favour of increasing funding for post-secondary education and, in turn, reducing tuition fees.
The rally's are part of a campaign by the Canadian Federation of Students.
Students at UBC-O will unfurl a pair of banners at the Dayton Street Overpass at 8 a.m. They will remain at the overpass until 10 a.m.
At Okanagan College, free Cup of Noodles will be passed out to 'Starving Students' at 9 a.m. in The Pit.
College students from across the valley will join UBC-O students at a rally at the UBC Okanagan Campus.
Nelson-Creston NDP MLA Michelle Mungall and NDP leader Adrian Dix will addressed the rally at about 12:30 in the University Centre Building.
Dix spoke about what his party would do if elected to government, and how he would handle the issue of student debt.
