The Kelowna Right To Life Society is taking its message to the streets -- literally.

On the heels of a successful campaign by a national atheist group, which included ads in Kelowna, the Right To Life Society is putting its message on the side of Kelowna Transit buses.

The new ad reads, “Life begins at conception. Now stop denying it and let them enjoy life.” Accompanying the text message is an ultrasound image of a child in utero.

“The message is straightforward and based on scientific fact that cannot be refuted. Countless textbooks and journals from the fields of embryology, fetology, biology, genetics, psychiatry and others conclude that without a doubt human life begins at conception. It therefore cannot be denied that abortion is the deliberate termination of a human life,” says KRTL Executive Director, Marlon Bartram.

Bartram says throughout history, certain groups of human beings have been declared 'non-persons'.

"Today, it is the unborn child who has been dehumanized."
