Crooks take 4hrs to snatch $150K

M&M Performance was hit again this week.

Thieves made off with five brand new Polaris side-by-side ATV's, six Polaris Sportsman model ATV's and an older Yamaha dirt bike.

The value of the items stolen total more than $150,000.

According to police, two unknown males took a semi-tractor which had been parked on Adams Road about 8:50 Sunday evening. Shortly thereafter, a 53' semi-trailer was taken from Neaves Road, less that a kilometre from where the semi-tractor was taken.

"At around 9:10 p.m., the vehicle pulled up to M&M Performance on Fenwick Road and Highway 97 and was there until around 1 a.m. on September 12," says RCMP Const. Steve Holmes.

"The truck and trailer were recovered on September 13 in the Lower Mainland area. Kelowna RCMP are coordinating their investigation with the Lower Mainland RCMP in an effort to identify the suspects and recover the stolen property."

Police are asking for any information pertaining to the theft of the semi-tractor unit which has the name 'DCC Trucking' on the doors, the theft of the 53' white trailer unit and the theft at M&M Performance where the truck and trailer were parked.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

This is the second time in four months thieves have targeted M&M Performance.

Back in May, five ATV's valued at about $60,000 were stolen.
