Kelowna RCMP Property Crime Unit received an anonymous tip on Tuesday that has lead to the arrest of a man wanted on a warrant.

The information was that Alan Greenlees had been staying in a residence in the 3500 block of Lakeshore Road in Kelowna.

Shortly after 6 p.m. RCMP Property Crime Unit attended outside the residence to gather more information.

About an hour later Greenlees exited the residence. He was arrested and was cooperative with police.

He is currently in custody and will appear in Provincial Court today.

Alan Greenlees was wanted on a warrant out of Kelowna for possession of stolen property over and under $5000, flight from police, assault with a weapon, assault police officer and breach of probation.
