A 27-year-old man from the lower mainland has died as a result of injuries suffered at Big White Saturday.

RCMP say the unidentified man was snowboarding at the mountain Saturday when he struck a tree, suffering serious head injuries.

First aid was provided, however, the victim died of his injuries.

Police are asking anyone who saw the incident to call the Kelowna RCMP Detachment at 250-762-3300 and speak with Cst. Celli.
