Investigators are spending their Canada Day morning trying to determine what sparked a fire that caused extensive damage to the roof of a medical clinic in Rutland.
The roof fire, which started on the building's exterior, broke out at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the clinic at 230 Robson Road West, says Lou Wilde, assistant chief.
He says the damage done by the blaze is estimated at around $45,000.
Pictures contributed by a Castanet reader show that the building is home to three doctors who call their office the Family Practice Associates clinic.
