Runs light, near collision

A commercial van was caught on dash-cam footage running a red light and almost hitting another vehicle on Tuesday.

Kelowna resident Suzie Q says the incident happened along Dilworth Drive, at Enterprise Way in Kelowna. 

She hopes the careless driver will see disciplinary action. 

''This was captured on my dash-cam, and the licence plate has been caught on camera," she said.

''If I was going any faster, it would have hit me and possibly hurt me and my child. I am worried this driver may hit someone else who is put in the same position,'' she said.

Kelowna RCMP have been notified and are investigating.
