More winter on the way

Madison Erhardt

It's been a few days since you had to shovel fresh snow from the sidewalks and driveways.

Enjoy the break while you can. More winter white stuff is on the way.

According to the latest forecast from Environment Canada, the Okanagan Valley could get between two and four centimetres of snow Tuesday morning.

And, after a short respite, the forecast for the end of the week is calling for more.

The five-day forecast indicates a mostly sunny day Thursday before the clouds begin to roll in, bringing with it more moisture in the form of snow.

Environment Canada is calling for periods of snow Thursday evening and snow Friday morning.

Snow flurries are expected to linger Friday evening and throughout the weekend.

Highs are expected to linger around -1 much of the week before nudging above freezing on the weekend.

Overnight lows are forecast in the -8 range before warming up a few degrees overnight Friday.
