A three-vehicle accident on Highway 97 halted southbound traffic between Cooper and Spall roads in Kelowna.
A witness at the scene says the crash happened just before noon.
It's unclear what caused the collision.
The witness said one person appeared to be badly injured.
Emergency crews are headed to the scene.
