A selfish Kelowna driver parked illegally – in two handicap parking spots – on Wednesday.
A witness says the driver parked straddling the line between two handicapped spots that were both occupied at the time.
“So close to the driver's side of the left car that the guy in the wheelchair couldn't get into his car,” said the witness. “What a stellar human being.”
The incident unfolded about 6 p.m. in a parking lot at Landmark Centre.
According to the witness, the driver even yelled at the person in the wheelchair and made them wait 20 minutes to get into their vehicle.
"Sad the Landmark buildings don't have a security office to report this to," said the witness. "The only number to call, which we tried, was only available until 5 p.m."
