Dangerous driver on cam

A daring driver was recorded on dash cam conducting a dangerous move on Glenmore Road.

Footage provided to Castanet shows a black Toyota passing vehicles on a double yellow line just after John Hindle Drive on Oct. 5, at about noon.

The driver tries to pass two vehicles by driving straight towards oncoming traffic, just nearly missing a vehicle.

According to the tipster, the vehicle continued to pass traffic this way all along Glemore Road, including through a construction zone.

The route is a major commuter corridor between Vernon and Kelowna, and the heavy traffic is compounded currently by a roadwork project at the Lake Country end.
