UPDATE: 10:40 p.m.
Kelowna RCMP remain on scene at highway 97 and Gordon, with the intersection blocked off southbound.
A silver, four-door vehicle still sits along the side of the highway with severe damage to the front of the car.
One passenger was reportedly transported to hospital shortly after B.C. Ambulance crews arrived.
The extent of the injuries are unclear.
UPDATE: 8:25 p.m.
RCMP remain on scene and the southbound lane is still blocked.
ORIGINAL: 7:45 p.m.
An accident along Highway 97 and Gordon Drive has blocked the intersection heading southbound.
It's unknown how many cars were involved.
B.C. Ambulance has transported one passenger to hospital and RCMP are on scene.
