The Okanagan Tattoo Show is fast approaching, featuring 140 artists over three days at the Kelowna Curling Club.
The show is entering its sixth year, after starting out at the Parkinson Rec Centre in 2013 with just 60 artists. It's steadily grown ever since, with 20 more artists attending the 2018 event over last year.
In addition to the artists working hard on site, this year, the event will feature 13 B.C. breweries, along with five “experience tents” offering a signature drink and theme.
Music will once again be central to the tattoo show, with 20 different bands playing over the weekend, including local band The Wild!, Calgary's The Dudes, and Portland's Red Fang.
New for this year, tattoo artist and painter Shawn Barber will host two art seminars throughout the weekend.
The all-ages, family-friendly show will run from July 20 to 22.
