Slopestyle volunteers sought

As Big White gets set to host some of the world's top mountain bikers, the call is going out for volunteers.

The inaugural Big White Invitational Slopestyle July 3-8 will be a qualifying event for Whistler's huge Crankworx festival.

The 25 top-ranked freestyle riders from North America and Europe, and four wildcard entries will compete on Big White’s new slopestyle course.

Volunteering offers a chance to be part of the behind-the-scenes action. The resort is looking for energetic volunteers in the following areas: event support, access control, course marshals, parking attendants and food and beverage support.

All volunteers will receive a Big White swag bag, custom slopestyle T-shirt, a summer bike or scenic chairlift ticket, entry to a volunteer after party, and a chance to win some cool prizes.

The minimum age to volunteer is 16 without a waiver from a parent or guardian. Click here to sign up.
