A Kelowna liquor store is sounding the alert about a local booze thief.
Urban Liquor on Gordon Drive posted two videos to its Facebook page this week following what it claims have been multiple thefts by a male suspect.
In the latest videos, posted Jan. 30, a young man can be seen entering the store, heading to an aisle out of sight of the cashier, and stuffing two 60-ounce bottles of rum into his jacket.
He then grabs a third bottle and pretends to pay for it before claiming he forgot his wallet and walking out.
​"This guy is a thief! Share this so he doesn't get away with this anymore!" the store posted to Facebook.
"If you know this guy, I am sharing this so that you don't get ripped off like we did," the store's management said. "This isn't his first offence in our store, so learn his face and keep him out of your store!"
