Moving sign sends msg

A Kelowna resident decided to send a message to his neighbour with a moving sign.

Kane Blake posted a sign on his lawn Thursday that reads ‘Home for Sale, by Owner, because neighbour is an A—hole’.

“All I want to do is sell my house,” he said. “I can’t take it anymore.”

The bullying by one neighbour started about five years ago and Blake said it has forced him to relocate.

“I’m over it. I have begged to have something done and dealt with,” he said.

Blake said he loves all his neighbours except a select few.

“After some of the things that have happened my kids don’t feel safe walking to school anymore,” he said.

He didn’t expect his sign to get the attention it has, but since posting the message on his lawn, other neighbours have come over to share similar stories.

“I would love nothing more than for it all to end and me to be able to live my life normally, I don’t even leave my house now because I don’t want to leave my family alone.”
