Nitro Circus to Kelowna

Cook is apart of Nitro Circus; the world's biggest action sports entertainment brand. 

The Next Level Tour features the best athletes in action sports taking on the biggest ramps in the world. The Nitro Circus design team has put it all on the line with this show doubling down on the risk factor.

The takeoff ramp towers 15-feet above the show floor, launching riders more than 60-feet into the sky.

Cook has spent the last few years touring the world. The Kelowna native saw his life flash before his eyes while attempting the world's first double front flip. 

Cook under rotated the landing and fell on his back. He suffered broken ribs and damage to his spinal cord resulting in paralysis from the waist down.

Just ten months after his accident Cook was back on the dirt bike. 

During Nitro Circus Live’s Toronto show at Air Canada Centre on October 14, 2015 Cook landed the world’s first motorcycle backflip by a paraplegic.
 
“To perform with my Nitro Circus friends again and ride on the world’s biggest action sports stage was incredible,” said Cook. “The energy and support from the fans was unbelievable," he added.
