Kelowna RCMP had a busy New Years Eve.
"There were nearly 20 prisoners lodged overnight in the Kelowna RCMP Detachment cell block for various reasons," said Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey. O'Donaghey didn't get into specifics.
RCMP responded to approximately 60 calls for service in Kelowna.
"Enforcement officers removed impaired drivers from the roads, most who were out celebrating the New Year found themselves a safe way home," O'Donahey added.
