Fire out, buckets of water

Kelowna fire crews were called to DeHart Avenue just after 1 p.m. for reports of a deck fire. 

"Upon arrival we showed up at the residence here and the next door residents noticed that there was a sleeping bag on fire. They then notified the person in the building and he had it mostly put out with buckets of water by the time we showed up," said acting capt. Kyle Wiberg.  

"There was no damage inside the home, and the cause is unknown," Wiberg added.
