Record cold temps

The Okanagan felt like the North Pole Monday morning with the third coldest Nov. 6th in history, with a low of -14 C.

"As of right now today's forecast ranks third coldest for the entire record period in Kelowna, dating back to the early 1900's," said Environment Canada Meteorologist, Lisa West.

The first half of the week will stay in the negatives, but after Wednesday the city will warm up slightly.

Tuesday will see a high of -2 with a 40 per cent chance of flurries.

Wednesday the Okanagan will see a high of -1 C and cloudy.

Thursday and Friday are calling for a high of 3 C with a chance on flurries.

The weekend is looking mild compared to the first half of the week's temperatures.

Saturday and Sunday will be well above freezing with a high of 6 C and a chance of showers.

All highways are reporting winter like conditions so remember to drive with caution and get those winter tires on if you haven't yet.
