Driving conditions have improved in the Okanagan since Thursday's snowstorm, but icy roads remain prevalent in the region.
A vehicle crashed head-on into a pole on Scenic Road near Brenda Road in Kelowna, at about 3:15 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
A witness said the male occupant didn't appear to be injured, but noted dangerous road conditions at the time of the crash.
"The road was extremely icy and a sanding truck arrived a few minutes after RCMP," Randy Millis said.
The vehicle has since been towed away and the road has been cleared.
