BC Hydro is expecting customers who lost power in the Fintry area to have it restored by 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Currently, 1,458 people are without power as of 4 p.m. and crews area onsite.

UPDATE: 12:30 p.m.
Nearly 1,500 BC Hydro customers in the Fintry area should have power back on later this afternoon.
According to the BC Hydro website, power is expected to be restored by 3 p.m. this afternoon.
Power went out just after noon during Tuesday's wind storm.
As for about 340 customers in Lake Country, no time frame has been determined for the restoration of power.
There are eight smaller power outages in that community. Half of those have yet to be assigned to a crew.
On it site, BC Hydro says it has made good progress restoring power following Tuesday's storm, but adds crews are also working on remaining outages, mostly in the Southern Interior.
"Crews are also preparing for possible new outages as weather patterns are expected to continue today across the province," the utility says.

Nearly 1,900 customers in Lake Country and along Westside Road remain in the dark this morning.
All are customers of BC Hydro.
According to the power utility's website, the largest group, 1,459 customers, have been without power since just after noon Tuesday, a result of the wind storm that passed through the Okanagan.
Those customers are in the Fintry area. The area affected stretches from north of Westside Road, west of Coral Beach Road and south of Whiteman's Creek Road.
Power was disrupted after trees were knocked onto power lines.
No word when power will be restored.
Many customers lost power mid afternoon Tuesday, while others had power go out between 5:30 and 6:30 this morning.
In Peachland, 223 customers who lost power late Tuesday morning remain without power.
In the North Okanagan, nearly 2,000 customers are without power. Most of those, about 1,700 are in Vernon.
The largest area affects more than 900 customers west of Tronson Road and north, south and east of Westside Road.
According to BC Hydro's website, all available resources are actively working to restore power for the remaining customers in the Interior. Hardest hit areas are Salmon Arm, Vernon, Nakusp and the Kootenays.
