Bringing skills to Kelowna

Over 100 cadets recently completed a training course at Albert Head.

The two week general training course provides cadets who recently joined the program an introductory summer training experience where they take part in multiple activities including drills, music, marksmanship, survival and ceremonial.

Aidan McLuskey from Kelowna has been faced with many challenges and experiences.

“I’m having so much fun learning new things this summer here at Albert Head,” McLuskey said. “My new friends are great and the things I am learning are great too, especially since I want to become a pilot one day.”

Albert Head in one of the largest training centres in Canada. It allows participants to improve their leadership, physical fitness and good citizenship.

Cadets will bring their new training back to their local units to share with their peers.
