Talented tattoo artists from across North America and overseas are coming together for a unique show in Kelowna.
The fifth annual Okanagan Tattoo Show will take place July 21-23 at the Kelowna Curling Club.
“Our intention from the beginning has been to bring tattoo shops from around the Interior together as a community and have the public become involved in our culture,” show organizers said in a press release.
Meanwhile, students, tattoo artists and freelance artists are being invited to create their perspective of the planet in a contest that's part of the tattoo show. Ten artists will be chosen to win a seminar with a celebrity artist at the show.
More than 100 artists will be on stage to showcase their talents, hosted by Good Guy Tattoo Supply.
Breweries, ciders and distillers will also be a part of the event, along with bands and entertainment.
Tickets are available online and can be purchased for $45 for a weekend pass or $20 for a single day pass. Children under 12 get in free.
Funds raised during a silent auction will go to Reach Out Youth Counselling Centre.
