Fire in Rutland

UPDATE: 9:35 p.m.

Castanet has received reports that the fire is now out and the scene is under investigation.

ORIGINAL: 9:15 p.m.

Crews were called to 165 Prior Road South, just after 9 p.m. after reports of smoke were seen coming from the building.

Everyone was evacuated from the building and crews are calling the fire "minor in nature." 

At this time FortisBC is on route to the scene.
