A vigil will be held Tuesday night in Kelowna for the victims of the attack on a mosque in Quebec City.
The vigil will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Kelowna Islamic Centre, says Hamid Butt, a member of the board of directors at the Kelowna Islamic Centre.
He said there has been an outpouring of support.
“We are getting tremendous calls from our community at large and churches in Kelowna extending their prayers and thoughts and just extending their support to us,” said Butt.
The Islamic Centre is located at 1120 Highway 33.
