Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Okanagan Connector between Merritt and West Kelowna.
A low pressure system is moving north from Washington state tonight. Light snow will begin this evening on high-elevation passes, becoming heavier tonight and early Saturday before tapering off Saturday afternoon.
Snowfall accumulations are expected of 15 to 25 centimetres.
Motorists should be prepared for winter driving and rapidly changing road conditions.
