Maritimer missing in valley

Kelowna RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing man from Moncton, N.B.

Denis Marc Savoie, 28, was visiting the Kelowna area when he was reported missing on June 6.

His family and friends last heard from him on May 26, and he was last seen in Kelowna on June 1.

Since he has gone missing, police have followed up on several leads, but his location is still unknown.

Police are concerned for Savoie’s well-being, as his friends and family have said it’s out of character for him to be out of contact this long.

Savoie is described by police as a 5-foot-10, 200-pound Caucasian male with blonde hair, blue eyes, a brown beard and a pierced left ear.

He has several distinguishing tattoos, including a large back tattoo of a black eagle, a black dragon on his right arm and a black tattoo of the name Shiana on his lower arm.

Police have asked anyone with information on Savoie’s location to contact their local police or anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
