A new private marina was opened up in Kelowna Wednesday afternoon at the McKinley Beach development.
The 92-slip marina is available for residents of the new McKinley Beach housing development.
In addition to the new marina, the new development will also have 20 kilometres of hiking and biking trails and boat storage facilities.
“I want to thank all of you for investing in our community and for showing your vote of confidence for what we’re trying to do as a council, to make Kelowna the most incredible place in North America and reach the potential we all believe and know that it has,” said Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran at the opening.
The development will host the general public at McKinley Beach on June 25 when they open their show home.
