Angling info on the hook

The Freshwater Fisheries Society of British Columbia is touring the province to spread the word about its activities.

Society representatives will hold public information sessions in Kelowna May 3 and Kamloops on May 4.

The sessions will present an overview of the work of the society, including regional fish stocking plans and emphasize that 100 per cent of freshwater angling licence fees now are invested in freshwater fisheries.

There will also be a question and answer session.

The non-profit organization is dedicated to the enhancement and conservation of British Columbia's freshwater fish resources for the benefit of the public. It invests angling licence fees into stocking programs, research, conservation, education and improved angler access to fishing areas.
