Santa Bus stops in

The Santa Bus pulled up to Castanet, Monday, to collect dozens of donations dropped off by local residents.

From toys to food, Kelowna Transit workers packed the festive bus. Donations will be turned over to the Kelowna Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper program, to help those less fortunate this holiday season.

Those who made donations at Castanet received tickets for the annual Parade of Lights Dec. 12 an 13. thanks to buses made available by Kelowna Transit.

The Parade of Lights, co-sponsored by Castanet, Power 104 and Q103.

Tickets are still available for the event at Castanet, and are on a first come, first serve basis.

The Santa Bus rolled out earlier in the day Monday.

It will make more than 30 stops over seven days collecting food, toys and cash donations for the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper program.
