All out safe in fire

All the occupants of a home on Arrowhead Court in Kelowna's KLO neighbourhood made it out safely when a bathroom fan caught fire.

Kelowna Fire Department Platoon Capt. Eric Simpson said firefighters were called to the scene at 2235 Arrowhead Court just before 3 p.m.

Five occupants and a dog were in the home at the time.

Simpson said the exhaust fan and heat lamp was more than likely the cause of the small fire, which was contained to the ceiling of the one room.
