A gas leak on Wardlaw Avenue has forced some residents from their homes.
Some residents in the South Pandosy area of Kelowna have left their homes after a gas leak Monday morning.
A pipe was broken on Wardlaw Avenue around 9:15 a.m. The road is currently undergoing major construction.
It is unclear how many residents have chosen to leave, but witnesses in the area say there is a strong smell of natural gas in the air.
Crews are awaiting Fortis who will shut off gas in the area.
