Missing boy and stolen truck
An Alberta man has been arrested after he was found in a stolen truck with a missing boy.
Police were called to a parking lot on Banks Road where two people were found openly consuming alcohol Sunday afternoon around 12:30 p.m.
The 24-year-old driver from Calgary was found to be impaired by alcohol and his 15-year-old passenger had been reported as missing.
Further investigation found the Black Cadillac Escalade truck had recently been stolen from a Calgary home.
Both people were arrested for possession of the stolen truck, but the youth was not charged and has since been released into the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development. He has since been returned to his family in Alberta.
The driver has been charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5,000.
