Block party closes Bernard

The downtown Kelowna Block Party has invaded Bernard street with vendors, music and bouncy castles.

Over 130 vendors will be on site for the event which kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday morning. The event ends at 5 p.m.

There will be several free events such as a dog agility show, yoga classes, a fashion show at 1:30 p.m., face painting, a climbing wall and a bouncy castle park.

Wentworth Musical Petting Zoo is also setting up for "epic Guitar Hero solos."

There will be entertainment going on all day at the three street stages, including The Boom Booms at 3:30 p.m. on the Westcorp Main Stage. 

The Downtown Kelowna Block Party presented by Interior Savings takes place in Kerry Park and along Bernard Avenue from Richter St. to Abbott Street.

This event is open to the general public for FREE.
