Missing teen found

Update August 8

The Kelowna RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 13-year-old boy reported missing has been located, and he is safe and sound.

A 13-year-old Kelowna teen has been missing for two weeks now and the RCMP are requesting your help.

Orin Lucas was last seen on July 24. Since his disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, however he is still missing.

Police note that he continues to be active on social media and investigators believe he is intentionally avoiding police.

Lucas is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 13 years
  • 5 ft 2 in (157 cm)
  • 120 lbs (54 kg)
  • brown hair

He was last seen wearing:

  • khaki pants
  • black ball cap
  • hoodie
  • white and green backpack
