It didn't take long for a pair of prosthetic legs, found at City Park Tuesday, to get to their rightful owner.
About a half hour after this story was posted on Castanet the owner of the prosthetics contacted RCMP, who in turn contacted Castanet.
The legs were turned in to the detachment and returned to the owner.
There was no explanation given as to how the legs ended up being left behind in the first place.
This is one for the lost and found hall of fame.
A Kelowna woman was in City Park Tuesday evening when she discovered what she believes are a pair of children's prosthetic legs.
"I found them on the sandy part of City Park right by the washrooms that are on the beach," says Pearl.
"That was the only thing on the beach. I stood there for the longest time and looked in every direction. There was nobody around so I picked them up and brought them home."
Pearl says she has contacted Hager Prosthetics, BC Prosthetics and the Kelowna RCMP, but so far no one has reported them missing.
She has also posted them on a couple of local Facebook pages.
Pearl says the legs are made of carbon fiber and believes, by the size, they are for a child.
