Fire crews were called to a garage fire in the 800 block of Francis Avenue just after 2 a.m. Thursday.
The garage was fully involved by the time firefighters arrived and part of the roof had already collapsed. An older model Chevy Van, was parked next to the garage, was also on fire.
The responding crews knocked down the flames from the garage and van, and cooled off the area exposed to flames. There was some damage to the neighbors garage, bushes, and recycling bins, caused by the radiant heat.
Two engines, two support vehicles and 11 firefighters responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but it does not appear to be suspicious.
