Shortly after 8:30 a.m., Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of a traffic incident on Glenmore Road near Union Road. A 23-year-old Kelowna man was located roadside after he had apparently fallen from a moving vehicle in which he was a passenger.

He suffered very serious injuries and was taken to hospital in critical condition. The man later succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation suggests the passenger unexpectedly jumped from the moving vehicle, resulting in his fatal injuries. His name has not been released..
Despite the 33-year-old driver being found to be unlicensed, he remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation. He was issued a violation ticket for No Driver's Licence.
