A 47-year-old Kelowna man was airlifted to hospital Sunday afternoon following an ATV roll over.
According to Cst. Kris Clark, the incident happened on a forest service road in the 8200 block of McCullough road, near Hydraulic Lake, around 4 p.m.
The man had been riding his ATV with a group of friends when the roll over occurred. Clark says the friends brought the victim 4 km out of the bush to the Kelowna Nordic parking lot where he was air lifted to hospital.
BC Ambulance confirmed that the air ambulance picked the victim up near McCullough and Highway 33 and flew him to Kelowna General Hospital. He was listed in serious condition.
Clark says the man sustained fairly serious injuries, but did not have an update on his current condition.
