Info session for Clifton Road

An information session for residents wishing to learn more about upgrades to Clifton Road will take place on June 12.

The public is invited to view the preferred design concept and construction schedule at St. Pius X Church from 5-7 p.m. at 1077 Fuller Avenue.

The project will turn Clifton Road into four lanes between Clement and Lambert Avenues and it will also include upgrades to sanitary, water, drainage and retaining walls in the area.

Improvements to Clifton Road will see new sidewalks built on both sides, street lighting, sanitary sewer, water main, shallow utilities, and a new storm drain.

A “cycle track” separated from the road by a barrier curb will also be constructed, with a visual barrier separating the track from the sidewalk.

Construction is scheduled to begin in August and will be completed in November. It’s expected to cost $3.6 million.
