Multi car crash in Kelowna

There was a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Spall and Harvey in Kelowna Sunday afternoon.

Around 3:20 p.m. emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash on the east side of Spall and Harvey.

A young woman was making a turn at a yellow light onto Spall when an elderly couple in a red truck allegedly came through the intersection and smashed into the side of her Mazda, causing the air bags to deploy.

The young woman was shaken up but did not appear to be hurt. The side of her car was quite smashed up and dented.

The elderly couple were unharmed, although the front of their truck did suffer some damage.

A third white truck was at the intersection and was narrowly missed. The driver stayed on the scene to assist the young woman.

RCMP on the scene said they were unsure what exactly had happened and an investigation was underway.
