Semi vs pickup truck
A female driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a semi collided with her pickup truck on highway 97 in Kelowna Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened just north of Spall Rd., where officers say the semi was turning northbound onto Harvey Ave. from Ambrosi Rd. when it clipped the truck.
The pickup was heavily damaged on the passenger side.
Traffic was backed up for several kilometres in the northbound lanes; RCMP set up a detour from Harvey Ave. to Spall Rd.
