Delays in paper carrier case
Another court date, another set of delays for a 24-year-old man accused of running over a paper carrier Dec 7 of last year.
Nathan Daniel Fahl, was scheduled for an arraignment hearing Thursday afternoon, but the hearing was adjourned until May 29 to give the Crown more time to review the file.
On Dec 7 around 4 a.m., Fahl allegedly failed to stop at a police road block and a short time later struck Steve Kania who was delivering newspapers.
Kania required surgery and spent time in an induced coma, but has since recovered.
Fahl remains in custody after breaching his probation in February.
