Dog looks for his owner

UPDATE MAY 15 9:45 A.M.

Case closed. A Chinese Shar-Pei and its owner has been reunited.

The owner, a resident on Francis Ave., in Kelowna attended the Dog Control yard and retrieved their dog.

The owner was determined to be safe and sound. Further details are unavailable on why calls were not made to the SPCA by the owner sooner.

Kelowna RCMP are trying to reunite a dog with its rightful owner.

This past Monday afternoon, May 12, a brown Chinese Shar-Pei was found unattended in the area of Wardlaw Avenue and Pandosy Street.

The dog had been seen previously being walked on a leash by a woman who appeared to be of Indonesian descent.

Officials with the SPCA say they have not received any reports of this type of dog being lost or stolen.
