Short Stop armed robbery

Kelowna RCMP are looking for man in connection with an armed robbery at the Short Stop Beer, Wine & Liquor Store.

The robbery occurred about 2 p.m. Monday afternoon.

According to police the man entered the beer and wine store, brandished a knife and demanded all the cash in the till.

He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A police dog was able to establish a track, however, the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • About 6' with a heavy build
  • Possibly in his 30s
  • Brown hair
  • Clean shaven with sideburns
  • Wearing a black ball cap, black hoodie, white t-shirt, black jeans, dark shoes and black sunglasses

Store management says the person working was shaken up, but they were not physically hurt.

Anyone with information concerning the robbery or the suspect is asked to contact Kelowna RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
