Emergency crews had a busy morning responding to two traffic accidents in opposite parts of Kelowna on Tuesday.
The first crash happened around 11 a.m. on Glenmore Road with a silver 4-door sedan and a silver pickup truck colliding near Mountain Avenue. The truck appeared to have received the brunt of the impact, including a broken axel. The car deployed multiple airbags.
The second accident occurred minutes later on Pandosy Street at Sutherland Avenue.
A small red car rear-ended a Rebo Beton Pumping truck. The rear portion of the truck became entangled in the car’s windshield, but none of the occupants were hurt.
The driver of the car was issued a ticket for following too close.
