Truck fire stalls traffic
A large flatdeck truck fire shut down Glenmore Road during rush hour Wednesday evening.
The truck was fully engulfed in the parking lot of the Glenvalley Plaza. It is unclear if it caught fire in the parking lot or while driving along Glenmore Road.
While the truck cab was engulfed fire crews managed to put out the flames before it spread to the bobcat on the flat deck behind the truck.
Smoke could be seen for several kilometres. There was so much smoke that some confused it for an apartment fire.
It is unknown if there were any injuries.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
