Hit and run driver sought

Police are searching for a suspect after a 28-year-old Lake Country man was sent to hospital early Monday morning following a two vehicle hit and run crash.

The crash occurred shortly after 7:30 Monday morning at the intersection of Highway 97 and Sexsmith Road.

The driver of the Inifniti, a 28-year-old man from Lake Country, sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision and was transported by BC Ambulance Service to Kelowna General Hospital for treatment.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle and it's driver.
